Devin Hoff, contrabassist, has played thousands of shows, everything from punk clubs to major jazz festivals throughout the U.S., Europe, and India.
He has worked with a wide range of artists including Vijay Iyer, Nels Cline, Scarnella, John Tchichai, Don Moye, Ben Goldberg, Ron Miles, Hugh Ragin, Idris Ackamoor, Scott Amendola, Graham Connah and many others.
In addition he has recorded on dozens of CDs as well as several radio, film and television projects. Recent releases of note include the eponymous debut CD from Good For Cows (duo with drummer Ches Smith, on Evander records) and the new Graham Connah CD, "The Only Song We Know" (also on Evander); new recordings are due out soon with both The Nels Cline Singers and Good For Cows.
